What better way to appreciate Dark Skies than stargazing at Plum Island. This is a joint program by Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, West Newbury Wild and Native, and North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club.

About the Event

Dark skies are important to animal migration, human health, and astronomy.   Come learn how you can dim your lights in April and May to help migrating birds and enjoy star gazing.  Telescopes and astronomy provided by the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club.  Rain dates May 11.  

Please register so that we can provide enough telescopes.  Check out the Dark Skies page to see how you can help. 

Meet at Maintenance Buildings at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge (2 miles and 15 minutes past Gatehouse).   Gate closes at 8pm.
