About the Event
Join us to explore how sheep and goats can support regenerative farming and conservation by improving soil health, controlling invasive plants, increasing soil carbon storage, and supporting wildlife. Keegan Delurey will explain how carefully managed rotational grazing recycles nutrients, encourages root growth, and improves nesting habitat for grassland-nesting birds. He will also demonstrate how livestock can be used to manage unwanted vegetation, reduce invasive plants, and create opportunities to reestablish native grasses and wildflowers as part of a broader habitat restoration plan.
This event is co-sponsored with Essex County Greenbelt.
