About the Event
Wild and Native members are invited to visit a re-wilded landscape in West Newbury. Formerly lawn with a number of invasive species, this 1.5-acre property has been transformed over the years into an ecologically rich habitat. The yard hosts multiple native gardens, native shrubs, trees and a meadow. Come learn about the native plants that adorn the landscape, which were chosen to provide a diverse sequence of blooming plants for pollinators from April through October. We will also take a look at some invasive plants. Carol Decker will lead the program along with other WN2 members. Programs will last approximately 1.5 hours. Donation for WN2 welcome.
